ⅠCollege Road Interlibrary Loan Association

In order to make full use of the rich literature resources of the libraries, from January 7, 2003, our school has jointly established a group of university libraries in the North Third Ring Road, College Road, Beijing with 39 schools. (For details, see the attached list of College Road Interlibrary Loan Union Universities. docx). The specific implementation methods for interlibrary lending in our library are as follows:

1 Borrowing certificate issuance and recycling

(1) The readers who have the right to apply for interlibrary borrowing of library cards are our teachers and graduate students, undergraduates.

(2) The reader will go to the College Road Campus Library to borrow the second part of the campus card to exchange for the interlibrary loan card, and then go to the library where the book is located.

(3) Considering the interlibrary distance, the time for each interlibrary pass is 40 days, which is generally not renewed. The library will terminate its borrowing authority if the loan is not returned on time.

2Use of the borrowing card

(1) The readers shall enter the library with the inter-library borrowing card, and enjoy the general permission of the library readers when borrowing books and abide by the lending rules of the library.

(2) Each interlibrary book borrowing card can borrow 3 books, each of which has a loan period of 30 days (in principle, it is not renewed). The scope of loan is limited to ordinary Chinese books (excluding foreign books, special books, reference books, library books and periodicals, etc.).

(3) The borrowing card is for personal use only and cannot be borrowed from others.

(4) If the inter-library loan card is lost, the applicant shall report the loss of the inter-library loan card and explain the situation in time with his/her valid id. At the same time, the applicant shall make a statement in our library and pay 20 yuan for the inter-library loan card (this clause is decided by the inter-library cooperation library).

(5) If there is a violation of the rules (such as the book is damaged, lost, overdue, violation of the reading room management regulations, etc.), readers should be treated in accordance with the management regulations of the library providing the service.

ⅡBalis Interlibrary Loan System

In order to help readers to obtain professional books that are lacking in the library of many universities in Beijing, our library has joined the interlibrary loan center under BALIS (Beijing University Library Document Resource Guarantee System).From now until December 31, 2019, our teachers and students can use the BALIS Interlibrary Loan Service free of charge.

Ⅲ National Library Interlibrary Loan

Since May 31, 2010, teachers and students of our school can submit books for loan to the National Library.

1 Scope of books to be borrowed: books in the national map collection in foreign languages and Chinese languages from nearly three years ago and less than 20 years ago. The books to be lent out are mainly in foreign languages, while the Chinese books should be mainly provided by the member libraries.

2Borrowing period:

(1) The term of the loaned book is one month (excluding the round-trip post).

(2) In case of special circumstances, the national library has the right to withdraw it at any time, regardless of whether it is due or not.

(3) Overdue return of books, each book must pay an overdue fee of 5 yuan / day.

3 Borrowing process: Search the National Library OPAC system: http://www.nlc.gov.cn/, log in to the BALIS system after finding the required books, and submit the request (the reader must register with the Balis Interlibrary Loan System) .

4 Violation of fines: Loan books need to be returned on time. If there are overdue, defacement and loss, the borrower will be compensated according to the relevant regulations of the National Library.

5 Fees: During the free period of BALIS Interlibrary Loan Service, the book borrowing fee and logistics cost will be paid by the Center Pavilion, and readers can enjoy the service free of charge.

ⅣShanghai Library Interlibrary Loan

As a BALIS member building, our library can submit a book loan request to the Shanghai Library.

1 The scope of borrowed books: Chinese library and foreign language reference materials in the library collection since 1949, including books in the reading room (Shanghai Library System is limited to 800 books per month, priority to borrow foreign books. Chinese books please try to Borrowing from various BALIS member libraries in Beijing).

2 Borrowing period:

(1) Each book is borrowed for 45 days (excluding round-trip post) and cannot be renewed.

(2) In case of special circumstances, the Shanghai Library has the right to request it at any time, regardless of whether it is due or not.

(3) Overdue return of books, each book must pay an overdue fee of 0.50 yuan / day.

3 Borrowing process: Retrieve the Shanghai Library OPAC system: http://ipac.library.sh.cn, retrieve the required book information, log in to the BALIS system, and submit the request according to the usage guide. Guide for use.ppt;

4 Violation of fines: Loan books need to be returned on time. If there is overdue, defacement or loss, after confirmation, the borrowing hall will compensate according to the relevant provisions of the Shanghai Library.

5 Fees: During the free period of BALIS Interlibrary Loan Service, the library loan and logistics expenses will be paid by our center. This service is free for readers of all schools.
