First: database introduction
The full name of JSTOR is Journal Storage. It is a non-profit organization that digitizes expired journals. It was established in 1995. Most of the journals provided by JSTOR's full-text database start from volume 1, issue 1, dating back to 1665. The "latest journals" in the library are mostly journals from three to five years ago. This is different from the newly published journals generally defined. There is a fixed time interval between the two, which is called the moving wall. Currently, JSTOR has 1,110 journals and nearly 4,019,507 articles.
At present, JSTOR's full-text library is centered on political science, economics, philosophy, history and other humanities and social subjects, as well as a full-text library of representative academic journals in more than a dozen fields of general scientific themes.

Second: Database search guide
1. Search method
Jstor's retrieval system provides two functions of browsing and retrieval for the use of journals.
1) Browse:
Browse by the following subjects: African American Studies, Anthropology, Asian Studies, Economics, Ecology, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, Finance, History, History, Demography, Sociology, Statistics, African Studies, Archeology, Botany, Classical Literature Studies, General Science, Geography, Languages, Literature, Latin American Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Slavic Studies. Browse by journal title, year limit, volume, table of contents, and full text under each subject.
2) Search:
Jstor's search is divided into basic search (basic search) and advanced search (advanced search). The basic search is similar to the guide search, and the advanced search is similar to the instruction search. You must write your own search commands, such as field codes, logical operators, etc. For example:

For copyright considerations, the maximum search result of each search formula is 2,500.
