      In order to meet the needs of teachers and students of our school for foreign e-books, the library participated in the e-book cross-regional alliance procurement jointly organized by the Chinese University Humanities and Social Sciences Documentation Center (CASHL) and the Hong Kong Academic Library Advisory Committee (JULAC). The e-books purchased by the library can be shared and used on the same platform. There are currently more than 8,000 e-books that can be accessed.

 

   Ebook Central platform (EBC for short), formed by the merger of the original EBL, Myilibrary and Ebrary, is a comprehensive e-book platform that can provide library users with e-book resources of various disciplines and types and subscription plans. Contains more than 1 million e-books published by more than 1,000 famous university presses, professional publishers, and academic publishing institutions around the world. More than 45% of the titles are published in the last five years, covering science, technology, medicine, life sciences, and computers. Science, economics, business, literature, history, art, social and behavioral sciences, philosophy and pedagogy and other disciplines. Its e-book covers 20 languages, covering English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Catalan, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Czech, Latin, Russian , Chinese, etc.

Access method: IP control, access via dedicated line, no need to pay international data charges.

 

    After creating an account in the library's IP range, remote access outside the campus network can be realized.

 

Concurrent users: A book with only 1 copy provides 2 concurrent users; a book with 2 copies provides 3 concurrent users.
