Nomos Publishing House is one of the leading academic publishers in the fields of law, society and humanities in Germany, headquartered in Baden-Baden. Its publishing scope spans different disciplines, with special attention to European and international issues. Nomos Publishing House is also quite influential outside the German-speaking area, which is not only reflected in the steady increase in the proportion of English and other foreign language publications. Nomos Publishing publishes more than 1,100 books and more than 70 professional journals (including digital ones) every year. All academic publications are available through the Nomos electronic library, and the works of legal practitioners are available through the beck-online database.
