Summon is a new generation of academic resource discovery and acquisition system based on massive metadata warehousing developed by Exlibris, a subsidiary of ProQuest Group of the United States. It is dedicated to providing readers with a convenient "one-stop" search. It has a simple interface similar to Google and can easily search all academic resources in the library.

In the current configuration Summon the academic search portal resources mainly from the library of foreign full-text e-journal databases, electronic database, open access resources, NSTL national open access resources, etc., including books, periodicals, books, academic journal articles, dissertation, book review, multimedia resources, newspaper articles, and other types.
