Easy to solve the problem of "full concurrency" in CNKI

Recently, we have received many responses from our partners. When downloading literatures from CNKI, "The current concurrent number is full" will pop up or you need to log in your account to download the literatures.

Don't panic if something goes wrong,

Follow the guidelines below,

Easily solve the document download problem ~

01

Fault 1: You need to log in to download documents

The reason:

The database doesn't automatically recognize our IP address.

Solution:

If you are on campus and connected to the campus network, click "Login" - "IP Login" in the upper right corner, the database will identify the IP again.

"Library of China University of Political Science and Law" will be displayed in the upper right corner, indicating that you can use CNKI normally.

Fault 2: "Concurrency is full" is displayed when downloading documents

Cause: The number of concurrent users of CNKI exceeds the upper limit.

Solution:

1. Repeat the refresh several times.

2. Use alternative resources. In the Chinese database resources of the library, we can use "Super Star Journal", "Renmin University of China photocopying newspaper materials", "National Philosophy and Social Science academic Journal database", "WEIpu" and other channels to retrieve articles, which have a certain amount of resources overlap with CNKI.

3. In addition, the library's Superstar discovery system can simultaneously retrieve most of the database resources we purchase as well as open access resources on the web.

Take the following retrieval as an example. These articles are not only included in CNKI, but also included in Superstar journal, VIP and Peking University's Jiubao database. We can obtain the full text through these alternative ways.

For some resources not included in our library, you can also apply for full electronic versions of the full texts directly through the "document Delivery" below the article or by logging in BALIS (Beijing Higher Education Document Guarantee System).

In the digital age, we're used to having a "back up" of everything in case it gets lost. The same is true for scientific research. I hope that you can master the methods of obtaining literature resources through multiple channels and find a "backup" scheme for scientific research, so as not to be in a mess when one of the methods of obtaining literature fails.

Finally, if the above method still can not solve your problem, you can contact us through the following way oh:
