Japan's IRDB database was launched in April 2019, specifically for academic institutions in Japan. It contains some papers from the original CiNii database; doctoral theses freely available from the National Diet Library of Japan; freely available resources from the National Institute of Informatics of Japan; electronic medical journals published by the Central Journal of Medicine and some open and free electronic resources .

    This database is a fully open electronic resource, no registration and login are required.
